In these terms the following definitions apply:

“The Company” Jobstrsb.com (A trading name os Stubbs Management Services Limited) or any trading name notified.
“The Client” Means any advertiser or company or individual who placed a job vacancy on this site
“The Jobseeker” Means any individual who registers on this site for employment, places or uploads their CV
“Terms of Use” Means the conditions that expressly apply to the provision of services supplied by the company
“Data Protection” Means the data protection act 1998
“Prices” Means the cost of advertising on this site
“Payment” Means payments for advertising on this site
“Illegal Advertising” Means the advertising act 1969

Terms of use:
This site is owned and operated by “the company” and is available to you on under the following terms. By using this site it you are deemed to accept these terms and conditions and any additional terms and conditions which expressly apply to services and information provided by third parties.

Data Protection:
Our use of CVs and other personal information supplied by “the Jobseeker” & “the client” is governed by our privacy policy. The information and services available this site is provided for the sole purpose of “the Jobseekers” looking for employment opportunities and career information and for “the client” seeking to recruit staff. You may use, print and download information from the site for these purposes only and for no other personal or commercial purpose. You may not otherwise copy, display, transmit or distribute any material from the site.Jobseekers and recruiters should be aware that “the company” does not introduce or supply “the Jobseekers” to “the client” (or vice versa). This company does not: ” Obtain confirmation of the identity of a “job seeker” or that they have the experience, training, qualifications or authorisation to work in the position to be filled or that they wish to undertake the role to be filled;” Take any steps to ensure the work-seeker and recruiter are each aware of any requirement imposed by law or otherwise which must be satisfied by either of them to permit the “job seeker” to fulfill the position to be filled;” Give any Guarantee to “the client” that “the Jobseeker” is suitable or un-suitable for any position advertised under any circumstances;

“Propose “the job seeker” to recruiters or provide any information about them;”
“Take up any references in relation to “the job seeker”;


“Make any arrangements for accommodation of “the job seeker”.

In addition to these conditions where professional qualifications are required or where “the Job Seeker” are required to work with vulnerable persons or children, you should obtain:

  • 1, Copies of “the Job Seekers” relevant qualifications.
  • 2, Obtain at least two personal character references from people who are not relatives.
  • 3, Obtain at least 2 work references from previous employers
  • 4, Undertake a criminal records bureau check of “the Job Seeker”.

These terms shall at all times be governed by English Law and the courts of England shall have sole jurisdiction.

Additional Terms of business for Advertisers:

All job posted on this site will remain live for up-to 30 days or such shorter time as the “client requires. After this period the advert will automatically be removed from our site. If “the client” deletes a job and then re-posts it or posts another, these will be classed as new jobs and will be charged accordingly.

All prices quoted on this site may include VAT at the prevailing rate. Payment should be made via Pay Pal. An account may be arranged for frequent advertisers, however we will not issue an invoice for less than £500.00 Accounts will only be opened after a satisfactory credit report is obtained by “the company’.We may terminate the provision of Services if: “The client” is in material breach of these terms, or posts any advert that in the sole opinion of “The Company” is deemed to be illegal.

You are made aware that it is illegal to discriminate in your advert on grounds of sex, race, age, marital status, or disability and may result in proceedings being taken against the advertiser and us. We may from time to time monitor advertisements and If we believe that an advert may be discriminatory we may at our sole discretion amend the advert or remove it from our site. If we feel that due to an illegal advert we have felt the need to remove the advert from our site. The company will be under no obligation to refund any payment relating to the removed advert by the client. More detailed interpretation of Discrimination can be found HERE

“The client:’ will indemnify “the company” from and keep “the company” indemnified against any liability arising from any content in your advertisements.

Rights in the database:
Database rights and all other applicable copyright and intellectual property rights in the candidate database are owned by “the company”. You acknowledge that you do not acquire any rights in the database or its content and that your retention and use of the database and its content is governed by these terms and conditions.

Information supplied on this site:
“the client” shall not:

  • Supply or sell any details from “the jobseeker” database to any third party.
  • ii. Download the database through any automated process.
  • iii. Contact the individuals on the database or make or allow any use of the information about those individuals, other than for the purpose of finding suitable candidates for specific job vacancies advertised on this site. You must, at all times, comply with the Data Protection Act 1998 and all subsequent legislation and regulations

Passwords, User Names and Contact Details:
Passwords, User Names and Contact Details are for the sole use of the person to whom they are issued. You may change your password and username. You may also change your details; however you may not allow them to be used by any unauthorised person.

If we or our third party subcontractors who may host and maintain this site make any error in displaying any advert or if due to circumstances considered beyond our reasonable control our sole liability will be the cost of re-running the advert. Neither we nor our subcontractors, hosts or site maintainers shall be liable under any circumstances for any loss of profit or business or any consequential loss arising out of such error or failure.
