Job Description Restaurant Manager. It is the Restaurant Managers job to ensure that the restaurant operates efficiently and profitably while continuing to maintaining its reputation. Restaurant Managers are responsible for the business performance of their restaurant, as well as maintaining high standards of food, service, and health and safety.
The Restaurant Management will also be responsible for planning, shift pattern, recruitment and general day-to-day management activities. Depending on the nature and size of the establishment it will be the Restaurant manager’s job to be creative in marketing and business development.
As a Restaurant Manager within the hospitality sector, the roll will be a fast changing, highly demanding and very rewarding experience.
As Restaurant Manager you will be taking responsibility for the restaurant, planning restaurant sales levels and profitability, organising marketing activities, preparing management reports on staff, food and sales activity, setting budgets and agreeing them with management, planning menus, managing staff, meeting and greeting customers and escorting them to tables, recruiting, training and motivating staff, supervising kitchen, waiting on and cleaning staff.
