What are the benefits of using a recruitment or employment agency?

Using a recruitment agency is a very low risk method of obtaining quality employees. The consultant who is assigned to handle your enquiry will screen, interview and reference check applicants for you, should you require them for a day, week, month or even permanent. You may receive and assess as many applicants as you wish. Additionally, all of our Candidates are guaranteed. If he/she does not work out within the guarantee period, we will credit your account and locate another more suitable employee at no additional cost.

How do you keep my company information private?

Job descriptions and remuneration packages will be used as information to attract our Candidates to your jobs. However, under no circumstances is the identity or contact information of our Client organisation revealed to our Candidates until our Client expresses interest in the Candidate. Your company information is stored in a secure office building and all Tower Employment Services consultants are obliged to sign a confidentiality agreement that keeps this information private.

Where do you find your Candidates?

Many of our Candidates are recommended by our already large database of people that are already registered with us. We use local papers, internet advertising we have even had clients who have recommended us to potential candidates. We also have our own custom built job board that we utilise as do most of our clients to advertise vacancies on.

What sort of screening process do you go through?

The applications we receive go through a standard screening process that analyses the candidates CV and ask specific questions that need to be asked. We will verify the information on their CV and take up at lease 2 work references from previous employers and 2 character references. Our consultants are very experienced at what they do and nothing can compensate for gut feeling.

Who actually employs Temporary Staff?

A temporary worker is classed as employed by us for the purpose of PAYE and national insurance. Other than that when you use one of our staff they are considered your employee for the period of hire. They come under your insurances and your own health and safety policy your direction and control, just as though they were a member of the clients own staff.

When I offered an Agency worker a full time job the Agency charged me a fee. Do all agencies work this way?

No at least not with us. If you wish to offer one of our staff a full time job all we ask is that you tell us. We may then negotiate a period of extended hire (normally 13 weeks) and then you are free to take the employee onto your own staffing compliment at no extra cost. We pride ourselves over the relationship we have with our clients many of them have used us since we commenced trading in 1989. In 20 years we have only ever had disputes with clients regarding this on 5 occasions and those were only because the client took the employee underhand.

What are my obligations to Tower Employment Servoces as a Client?

As a Client of Tower Employment Services your company will be obliged to adhere to our terms and conditions, however clients are under absolutely no obligation to interview or hire any applications that are forwarded.
